MANY DISCIPLINES.
ONE SHARED PURPOSE.
Alexandria Tava is a Certified Holistic Healing Practitioner, accredited personal growth coach, advisor, writer, independent singer-songwriter, music producer, and interdisciplinary media creator. As the creator of the term Holistic Producer, she brings together holistic wellbeing, creative expression, ethical leadership, and public impact.
Her work asks a central question: How do we reclaim our power while staying accountable for how we use it?
Today, she is building Alexandria Tava, LLC, developing the RECLAIM collection and her five-stage framework, continuing her advisory work on Keen, and advancing her education in public administration. Across these disciplines, her purpose remains consistent: to help people rebuild self-trust, find their voice, and move forward with greater clarity and integrity.
What I mean by “holistic producer”
I use this term to describe how I connect ideas, education, and creative expression with care for the whole person—and the wider impact of the work.
EARLY LIFE & MUSICAL FOUNDATION
A voice with a message.
Alexandria entered the professional entertainment industry as a child voiceover artist for Magic Johnson’s HIV-prevention radio campaign and later performed background vocals for Peter, Paul and Mary. As a young vocalist, she appeared on stages including Carnegie Hall, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and Lincoln Center. Her early performance experience included appearing alongside soprano Kathleen Battle under the direction of conductor Seiji Ozawa.
Her résumé grew to include appearances on Sesame Street, collaborations with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Westminster Choir College, and leadership roles within youth performance ensembles.
While in high school, she wrote the original anti-drug anthem “Turn Away,” becoming a state spokesperson and contest winner for the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey. She later became the first student intern under multi-Grammy Award-winning engineer and producer Dr. Jan Folkson at Sound on Sound Studios, gaining early exposure to professional recording and the technical work behind artists and companies such as Steely Dan and Disney Music Group.
Alexandria also performed on BET with the East Village Youth Gospel Choir and sang with Sounds of Glory at Middle Collegiate Church. These experiences placed her within creative communities spanning gospel, soul, hip-hop, and urban music.
From the beginning, music offered her a way to connect expression with a larger purpose.
CREATIVE INDEPENDENCE
From the stage to the turntables.
Alexandria continued her artistic education at Berklee College of Music, where she pursued undergraduate studies in music business and singer-songwriter development. Performing as DJ Tava Luv, she became the first woman to host a DJ-driven show on Berklee’s BIRN radio network. Her career behind the turntables expanded beyond campus. She held residencies and creative partnerships with global lifestyle brands and cultural platforms including W Hotels, PUMA, and New York Fashion Week. Her performances included Ultra Music Festival, The Standard Hotels, and venues and events throughout New York, Boston, Miami, and the international nightlife circuit.
After separating from NYC Traxx, she took responsibility for her own bookings, branding, creative direction, and career strategy. This period strengthened the entrepreneurial independence that continues to shape her work as an artist and producer.
PUBLIC AFFAIRS & CIVIC ENGAGEMENT
Creativity in service of community.
After DJing the Massachusetts Democratic Convention, Alexandria developed a deeper interest in political participation and the relationship between culture, community, and public action.
She directed field operations for Field Strategies, where her assigned campaigns achieved their Get Out the Vote objectives. Her work drew the attention of political leaders including Susan McCue and led to invitations to pursue political work in Washington, D.C.
She subsequently served as a Northeast strategist supporting Barack Obama during his first and second presidential campaigns, helping translate national political priorities into organized community action.
Her advocacy extended into youth-empowerment initiatives, mural-based activism, and programming focused on cultural access and equity. She also participated in the International Day of Yoga at the United Nations.
Alexandria continued her public affairs education at Baruch College’s Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs. Her experience included helping organize hackathons for social change, supporting the New York City Museum Educators Roundtable in improving cultural-arts access for underserved CUNY students, and contributing to initiatives connected with the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations.
She is now working toward a Master of Public Administration at Baruch College, with interests in ethical governance, institutional accountability, prevention, and community wellbeing. This direction informs her developing work in holistic justice: examining how personal wellbeing connects with the conditions people live, work, and rebuild within.
COACHING & HOLISTIC PRACTICE
Supporting the whole person.
After witnessing friends and colleagues confront addiction, mental-health crises, and suicide, Alexandria stepped away from mainstream entertainment to study wellbeing, personal growth, and the practices that support people through change.
She became a Certified Holistic Healing Practitioner, developing an approach that brings together self-development, spiritual inquiry, embodied awareness, and personal reflection.
Her coaching education includes training through Brendon Burchard’s High Performance Institute and CPD-accredited programs in Master Life Coaching and Personal Growth Coaching at Transformation Academy. These disciplines inform her work with values, habits, limiting beliefs, self-trust, and purposeful action.
Her complementary and spiritual training includes Integrated Energy Therapy with Roger Ansanelli, Usui Reiki Master Practitioner training through Lisa Powers Health & Wellness, trance channeling at the Open Heart School with Diana Muenz Chen, and advanced Akashic Field Therapy practitioner training with CJ Martes and Valerie Elster.
She also became a Certified Yoga Teacher through Surya Yoga Academy, deepening her study of movement, breath, meditation, and contemplative practice.
Alexandria currently works as a Keen Advisor under the name AlexandriaLoves, offering eight listings for intuitive guidance on relationships, personal growth, life direction, and spiritual questions. Her work on the platform includes thousands of readings, combining a direct, compassionate perspective with reflection and practical next steps.
As of October 2026, her primary Love & Relationships listing displayed a 4.91/5 rating, with several other specialty listings displaying 5.0/5 ratings. Across her advisory work, “Your Voice of Reason” expresses her commitment to supporting clients’ confidence, discernment, self-trust, and peace of mind.
MARTIAL ARTS & SELF-MASTERY
Discipline as a daily practice.
Alexandria’s understanding of wellbeing and leadership is also shaped by martial arts.
She became part of the inaugural generation of students in a dedicated all-women’s program at New York’s Shaolin Kung Fu Training Center, led by Shimu Arlene. This training strengthened her relationship with discipline, personal responsibility, resilience, and boundaries.
She has also studied Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Chan Buddhism at the USA Shaolin Temple in New York City under its founder and abbot, Shifu Shi Yan Ming, a 34th-generation Shaolin warrior monk.
Expanding her martial education across traditions, Alexandria trained in Iaido and Japanese swordsmanship at Ryushin Kan under Valiant Yeung Sensei, within the Ryushin Shouchi Ryu lineage headed by Kunikazu Yahagi Sensei.
She currently trains in Practical Wing Chun at Gotham Martial Arts in New York City under Headmaster William Kwok. The practice gives her an ongoing study of structure, awareness, composure, and efficient response under pressure.
Together, these disciplines inform her understanding of leadership as a responsibility practiced through discernment, grounded action, and the ethical use of power.
BUILDING CHOOSE LOVE MUSIC
Bringing sound, wellbeing, and purpose together.
In 2021, Alexandria founded Choose Love Music, LLC, a music and mindfulness company connecting professional entertainment with holistic wellbeing. Through the company, she developed the interdisciplinary practice she calls Holistic Production: the intentional integration of music production, sound-based experiences, contemplative practices, education, and ethical creative direction.
Her work was featured at Weill Cornell Medical Center through a sound project for essential workers created in partnership with BuddhaBooth. The music was developed and recorded at Cove City Sound Studios, using professional technology from iZotope.
Alexandria also collaborated with Peace Boat US and Parties for Peace, contributing to a community of artists and advocates using music to advance peace, sustainability, and social awareness. This work included participation in the United Nations’ inaugural World Oceans Day Music Festival.
These projects brought her artistic background, holistic practice, and public-service interests into a shared professional direction.

DISRUPTION & REBUILDING
Reclaiming authority with integrity.
In 2024, a period of profound personal and professional disruption led to the closure of Choose Love Music and destabilized the foundation Alexandria had spent years building.
Her experience sharpened her questions about institutional accountability, misuse of power, and what people need when their safety, livelihood, and sense of agency have been disrupted.
She documented that chapter in her manifesto, From Sound to Shaolin, an eight-chapter manifesto exploring survival, reconstruction, personal sovereignty, ethical leadership, and the work of choosing love while maintaining discernment.
That writing became part of the foundation for RECLAIM and her five-stages framework: Foundation, Disruption, Reconstruction, Integration, and Expansion. Through these projects, she is developing language and practical resources for navigating change, rebuilding self-trust, and bringing personal values into daily action.
HER WORK TODAY
Many disciplines. One shared purpose.
Today, Alexandria is building Alexandria Tava, LLC as its Founder, Executive Producer, and Creative Director. Her current work brings together writing, educational resources, advisory services, independent music, and interdisciplinary media.
Through RECLAIM, she is developing a collection of digital guides, companion workbooks, and apparel around rebuilding self-trust, strengthening boundaries, reclaiming personal agency, and creating a life that feels like one’s own.
Her five-stages framework offers an organizing structure for understanding change. Her Insights and Essays bring that perspective into everyday questions and deeper reflection, while her professional engagements include advisory and strategy, writing and content, and speaking and teaching.
Her values—Love of Self, Love of Others, and Love of All—connect personal responsibility with compassion, boundaries, and awareness of the wider impact of one’s choices.
She continues her paid intuitive advisory work through Keen, her martial arts training, her independent artistry, and her academic direction in public administration. Together, these pursuits form an evolving body of work concerned with how people reclaim their agency and how leaders and institutions become more accountable for the power they hold.
Her guiding conviction remains:
